Close to forty students from TIS entered the 2009 Grand Traverse in a well organised squad set up by Mr Tolley. 

The squad took out the Top Year 7/8 Team award, and TIS also filled out 1st, 2nd and 3rd for the Top Waka Teams award.

We were also lucky with the spot prizes with Matt W winning the major prize of an Avanti Mountain bike.
