During Term 2 we worked as a percussion ensemble, focusing on playing music from across Latin America. A group of our
girls have been working on 'La Bamba' - in 3 part harmony, with piano accompaniment. We later added percussion to this.

For the latter half of the year we are moving into working together as rock band, rehearsing for the annual 'Battle of the
Bands' competition against bands from other Intermediate Schools across Wellington.

We have great fun as we bring together our various skills, and collaborate in creating music with one another.
